Dooku’s Dark Acolyte team

It is amazing to think the Clone Wars only lasted about three years and yet, so much stuff occurred in that short time, then most eras in the Star Wars universe.

A particular piece I would like to go over with you is the task force that was established by Count Dooku. Now, the training of Dark Spies who were force adept is not new, but what Tyranus did this, he aimed to make better and way more use of more advanced beings with the force, hence why most of these are broken Jedi whom he corrupted. They became assassins, spies, generals, leaders in battle, and in some cases, secret apprentices. Here’s the list of Count Dooku’s Dark Acolytes:

Now I do not intend to go over each and every one of them with you, but I’ll go over the few I feel are important and I will post the link to where I found this information, and there you can read your heart’s content on this subject matter.

Asajj Ventress

Ventress is probably the most canon example of a secret apprentice to Dooku than any other person on that list. Found by chance that she were to impress the Count while he searched for an assassin. She thought her skills with two lightsabers and limited knowledge of the force would have him beat. Her first mistake. Ventress tried to imitate the Sith, but was unaware she had found a Sith Lord.

Count Dooku took to her, and as she rose to being his most trusted and gifted Acolyte, Tyranus introduced her to his master, Lord Sidious. This would have been known as his greatest error as a Sith, for he knew his intentions were to train her to take down Sidious, but once Sidious was made aware of her existence, that task would never come to pass. Still, Dooku began to train her, seeing her as a potential equal to Anakin Skywalker before he was dubbed a Knight in the Jedi Order, and when she had become too powerful, Darth Sidious ordered the Count to destroy her, or else.

This led to revelations on the misty past of Ventress and she returned home to Dathomir, in the company of Mother Talzin, who helped guide Ventress through a difficult time of self worth. As far as her fate, she was not listed among the dead, and most likely found work in the galaxy using the skills to get by until she passed away and become one with the force.

Savage Opress

After being ordered to eliminate Ventress, and her secret attempt on his life, Dooku sought after a new personal pet. Talzin, while aiding Ventress, offered him a prize worthy of his time. She promised him the brother of Darth Maul, Savage Opress. When he was taken by Ventress to Talzin, Savage was enhanced with the Nightsister’s magiks and would secretly remain loyal to Ventress. He was then give to the Count, who took the Nightbrother and trained him in the ways of the Sith that very day. This time, Dooku knew where the mistake lay the first time, and made certain not to repeat himself.

However, he was just as unstable as his brother Maul and when Ventress attempted one final time to take the life of her old master using his toy against, it backfired. Savage fled and was tasked by Talzin to find his brother, whom she knew was still alive. After recovering Maul, and helping him form a new empire in the shadows of the galaxy, Savage was on the brink of becoming a Sith. However, Sidious would never allow such a thing, and personally slaughtered him, while torturing Maul.

Quinlan Vos

Vos served as a double agent for the Jedi Council to spy on this alleged Acolyte team formed by Dooku. Tyranus was no fool, and saw this from the very beginning and only played along to draw out as much information as he could. His minor role only became a major one when Vos had murdered his own Aunt in a violent pit of rage over his parent’s death.

The real significance that makes Vos a stand out was that this would be the closest attempt Count Dooku would have made to an attempt to have Darth Sidious killed. Dooku had given Vos a task to murder someone from the Senate, and would be told when the target lay before him. The problem was, when he was told he was in front of the target, two people stood before him. One being Chancellor Palatine, and the other Senator Viento. Vos would never believe Palpatine to have been the true Dark Lord and decided to take down Viento, though he was foiled by another Jedi.

After failing, he slowly started to return to the light side and returned to the Jedi Order, and General of the Republic’s Clone Army. The only problem that Quinlan faced there after was his obsession to unmask the second Sith. This led to a confrontation with other Acolytes of Dooku’s. He survived, barely,  and went onto survive Order 66 and raise a son.

OOC: Looking for Roleplays

I’m open to the following:

- Canon characters

- Crossovers with Canon Characters in other Fandoms

- Alternate Universes (Jedi!Dooku included)

- OC’s (Star Wars fandom only, and more actiony)

- You can send Asks/Anons/Starters

Here are some fandoms I would like to have Dooku enter or characters from said fandom enter the Star Wars Universe:

- Marvel (Avengers/Villains) (LIKE A LOKI WOULD BE FUCKING GREAT!)

- DC (Justice League/Villains)

- Tolkien Verse (LotR, Hobbit)

- Harry Potter (CANON ONLY, no Next Gen)

- Disney (Well, it’s gonna happen one way of another)

And as always, looking for some great plots for Clone Wars era stuff, which means we need lots more Canon Characters from the TV Show and in general!

Join us here in the corner of Tumblr where the Star Wars Roleplaying Community of Independent characters dwell. You may send me an ask for any help or advice. Thank you.

I felt it only right to pay more respect to Ian Abercrombie, the amazing voice behind Chancellor Palaptine and Darth Sidious on The Clone Wars, in the coming hours of what will be the shinning moment for his (and my all time favorite out of the entire Star Wars Saga Universe!) character in the series. No episode will truly be as worthy of such great praise as this week’s episode involving Sidious. I always wanted more. In fact, I met Dave Filoni, right before the Clone Wars film was released and asked him for an episode like this, where we would see an actual Sidious, not just a hologram. It took him a few years, but this looks worth the five seasons of waiting. But it is sad that I am able to watch it and enjoy it, where as Ian has left us and become one with the force. Please take the time and show your support for his brilliant voice over work this one last time, as his recordings are almost at an end. I’d like to dedicate this photo edit, and my fanboying on Saturday morning in his honor and memory.

OOC: Not that I don’t like the new Clone Wars

But the original one was fucking fantastic as well, and please watch it if you have not!

Part 2: (youtube link)

Also, there is like a wolf Jedi, I believe he won a contest for Hasbro during the series run. If anyone is interested, they should consider playing them, and any other characters in any Clone Wars series!!!
